The 6.4 will drop out of hi idle with the e brake not applied, however if you still leave the hi idle switch powered (sends B+ to the pcm) the vehilce will never regen and you will plug your dpf.Ī 6.4 also will no longer regen at idle, so excessive idling will do nothing but waste fuel and cause more frequent regen.
